Better Bones Programme
What is involved in the Programme?
 

The UCD Better Bones Level 1 Exercise Programme runs over a 7 week period. It is aimed at individuals who are 55 years of age or older and would like to start exercising to build better bones. It is also aimed towards individuals who are at risk of osteoporosis (brittle bones) or know they already have osteoporosis and would like to start exercising to build better bones.

Steps:

  1. Registration

  2. Week 1: Initial pre exercise screening by a Chartered Physiotherapist who is a member of the Better Bones Team at UCD
     
  3. Weeks 2 to 7: UCD Better Bones Level 1 exercise classes will be delivered by a Chartered Physiotherapist once a week in UCD Sports Centre.
