UCD International Launches 'Dublin in December'

December can be a hectic and stressful time for students. There are semester one exams, and also during the Chirstmas period, many students will remain living on campus while the vast majority of staff and students leave for the Christmas break. For these students, UCD International is delighted to launch Dublin in December (DiD), a series of events aimed at taking students' mind off the stressful exam period, and also supporting those who will remain here over the Christmas period.

DiD is a SPARC funded project led by UCD International in collaboration with a number of support units across campus. These include Student Advisers, Alumni and Development, the Chaplaincy, and UCDVO amongst others. DiD is primarily aimed at students who will be staying in Dublin over the Christmas period and it is envisaged as an opportunity for those involved to meet new people, form friendships, enjoy some tasty treats, and build community. DiD events are open to all UCD staff, students and alumni.

The first event will take place on Tuesday, 4 December from 5pm - 8pm in the Global Lounge. Further events are planned for:

Tuesday, 11th December. 5pm - 8pm. Global Lounge. Christmas movie.

Tuesday, 18th December. 5pm - 8pm. Global Lounge. Christmas party.

Tuesday, 25th December. 9am - 12pm. St Stephen's Chaplaincy. Christmas morning breakfast.
