TURAS project attracts interest from GIS experts in Taiwan.

TURAS work package 1, which is developing a geospatial ICT support infrastructure for urban resilience, has attracted interest from the Taiwan government. On her recent fact-finding mission to China, professor Zorica Nedović-Budić who leads this work package, met with professor Tien-Yin Chou (pictured), director of the GIS Research Center at Feng Chia University (GIS.FCU). This has resulted in an exciting new link to this world-class GIS research centre. This new partner will assist TURAS in developing an integrated approach to geospatial ICT.
