Professor Alun Jones elected to Royal Irish Academy

Congratulations to our colleague Professor Alun Jones who has been elected as a member of the Royal Irish Academy. Membership is awarded to persons who have attained distinction in education and research. It is the highest academic honour in Ireland. Professor Jones was one of six UCD professors elected to the RIA at a ceremony on 27th May.
