Our flagship research degree is our structured PhD programme. The structured PhD focuses on the completion of taught modules in conjunction with a traditional research thesis. The School also offers a series of Master’s degrees by research in each of the major disciplinary areas: Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy. The normal duration for completion of a Masters degree is 1-2 years.
