Learning Environment
GPEP offers high quality facilities and a welcoming and social atmosphere to all its students at its two locations within UCD. The School's undergraduate centre is based in the John Henry Newman Building on the 132 hectare Belfield Campus, 5km south of the centre of Dublin city. The School office is in Room E001. Please see here for opening hours Office Opening Hours . The School's postgraduate centre is based on the Richview Complex, which is part of the wider UCD campus at Belfield. Our undergraduate programmes, the BA Geography and the BA Planning, Geography and Environmental Policy, are student centred and are delivered by a multi-disciplinary team of staff. The School has pioneered innovative teaching methodologies including the use of online teaching and enquiry-based learning and in the first year programme we complement large group teaching with student tutorials. At Postgraduate level the UCD School of Geography, Planning and Environmental Policy provides excellent teaching and research support and facilities for those on our taught postgraduate programmes and those engaging in postgraduate research.
