Who is MSc in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy for?
Practising physiotherapists eligible for ISCP registration and 2 years’ post-qualification experience.
Degree of BSc (Physiotherapy) (NUI) or other primary degree or other qualification leading to eligibility for membership of Irish Society of Chartered Physiotherapists
What will I learn?
The course will develop critical evaluation of the theoretical basis of orthopaedic manipulative physiotherapy with clinical skills, evidence-based practice and research.
How will I benefit?
Graduates of the course will have reached a standard of Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy in accordance with the International Federation of Orthopaedic Therapists Educational Standards.
What is the programme about?
The programme aims to broaden students’ knowledge base in the relevant sciences, improve clinical skills, promote critical analysis and clinical reasoning skills, and encourage research in the area of neuromusculoskeletal physiotherapy
Where can I go?
Graduates are usually employed in a Hospital Outpatient Orthopaedic Setting or Private Physiotherapy Practice
