Welcome to University College Dublin. We are delighted that you have chosen to study in UCD and hope that your experience here will be an enjoyable one. This page will provide you with important information regarding the registration and orientation process as well as a useful contacts page for student support. We are delighted to welcome you on the commencement of your graduate studies at UCD. These pages will provide you with important information regarding your registration at UCD. Registration
In order to complete the registration process and gain unrestricted access to University student facilities you must pay the appropriate fees. A detailed breakdown of your fee obligation is available while registering in the SIS Student Information System through your UCD Connect account. To make the process easier you can take advantage of our online payment facility during registration. Alternatively, you can order a Fee Payment form/bank giro within SIS while registering online and one will be posted out to you within five working days. Please note that if you choose this method of payment, you need to allow five working days for the bank payment to show on your student fees account. Fee Payment Dates are available on our website at http://www.ucd.ie/registry/adminservices/fees/fee_payment_dates.htm Higher Education Grant Scheme All students in receipt of a Higher Education Grant must pay the Student Centre Levy of €183 plus any fees not payable under the grant scheme. Please note that your registration will not be complete until the appropriate fees have been paid. If you have applied for a Higher Education Grant through Student Universal Support Ireland (SUSI) please ensure that you provide us with your SUSI application number in the ‘Personal Details’ section in the online Registration System. This is a 13 digit alpha numeric number you will have received from SUSI. This will allow us to communicate with SUSI regarding the outcome of your grant application. New Graduates can collect their Student UCARD from the UCARD Services Bureau in the Newman Building from the 14th August. This is adjacent to the JK Print and Copy location (beside Theatre L). It is essential that you collect your card as soon as you have registered, paid your fees, and arrive on campus as you will need it for payments, access to facilities, and as identification. In order to do this you must upload your photograph. This will be the photo that will appear on your Student UCARD and ideally should be uploaded when you are completing online registration or at least within 5 days in order to ensure your card is available on time. For further information visit http://www.ucd.ie/ucard/
