We are delighted to welcome you on the commencement of your graduate studies at UCD. These pages  will provide you with important information regarding your registration at UCD.

Registration

You will need to register before you can begin your graduate studies at UCD. You do this online. Registration allows you to obtain your student card and gain access to the wide range of facilities available to our students.
Please see http://www.ucd.ie/students/registration.html for further details on Registration 2011/12 such as guides (including videos) to registration and other support information. Online registration for May start Graduate Taught and Research Programmes, will be available from Tuesday, 10 April 2012.

Online registration will be available through UCD Connect - at www.ucd.ie. Please note that your UCD Connect account will be available 48 hours in advance of online registration. Your UCD Student Number is your user name and your date of birth is your password ddmmyy format. Once in UCD Connect, click on the "Student Life" tab, then enter the SIS Student Information System. If you were a student of UCD in the last three years your computer account and email details remain the same.

It is important to note that your application for admission must be fully processed before you can commence registration.

Fees/Grants

In order to complete the registration process and gain unrestricted access to University student facilities you must pay the appropriate fees. A detailed breakdown of your fee obligation is available while registering in the SIS Student Information System through your UCD Connect account. To make the process easier you can take advantage of our online payment facility during registration. Alternatively, you can order a Fee Payment form/bank giro within SIS while registering online and one will be posted out to you within five working days. Please note that if you choose this method of payment, you need to allow five working days for the bank payment to show on your student fees account.

If you are entitled to a County Council, Local Authority or VEC grant you must provide a letter of approval from your Grant Authority to the Student Desk, Tierney Building. Please note that all students with County Council, Local Authority or VEC grants are required to pay the UCD Student Centre levy of €158 plus any excess over the maximum amount of the tuition element of the grant (i.e. where the annual fee is in excess of €6,270).
Your fees account is available for you to review at all times in SIS via UCD Connect.
