The #UCDFOOD team is made up of the School' of Public Health, Physiotherapy and Sports Science and the School of Agriculture and Food Science undergraduate and postgraduate Nutrition students, and research, academic and catering staff.

The #UCDFOOD project is supported by the UCD SPARC initiative. The aim of #UCDFOOD is to develop a sustainable annual initiative to improve the UCD healthy eating culture.

A “UCD Healthy Option” will be served daily in participating restaurants to encourage behaviour change. The impact of the #UCDFOOD project will be assessed based on the uptake of the “UCD Healthy Option” in restaurants as well as social media metrics.
