NB: There are traffic-calming barriers in place in UCD from 7am — 10.30am and from 4pm — 7pm. These barriers restrict access around the campus when entering through the main gate. It is best to use either the Owenstown Entrance (Foster's Avenue) or the Clonskeagh Entrance if visiting the UCD Humanities Institute during these times. On the UCD Campus Map, the HII is building number 27, grid reference F9.
Enter through the Main Gate and follow the road as it veers to the left. Continue straight following signs for car park 5 (this road runs through car park 5, splitting it in two). Parking can be found here, if required. At the back of car park 5, to the left of the Belgrove Student Residences is a block of buildings (the Geary Institute, the Hanna Sheehy-Skeffington building, and the Agnes McGuire Social Work building). The HII is located to the rear of this block. Please follow the pedestrian pathway on the right hand side of this block of buildings. This path will lead you to the main entrance to the Institute. Please buzz to gain entry.
Enter and follow the road down to the T Junction (opposite is the Quinn School of Business). Turn left and follow the road through car park 5 (this road runs through car park 5, splitting it in two). Parking can be found here, if required.
