HII Brown Bag Lunches
The UCD Humanities Institute of Ireland is continuing its Brown Bag Lunch initiative for the coming semester. These sandwich lunches at the HII will feature two scholars speaking informally about their research interests, experiences, passions and aspirations. These brief talks (no more than 10-15 minutes per speaker) are aimed primarily at doctoral students and they are intended to encourage, inspire, advise and inform early stage researchers. Time will also be allowed for questions from students. By bringing two established UCD speakers together in each session, it is hope to generate inter-disciplinary conversations, intellectual synergy and professional networking within UCD. These brief events take place from 1.15 p.m. to 2.15 p.m.
