Humanities Institute Membership
Membership of the Institute is formalised by agreement between a UCD academic staff member and the Institute director. Key considerations in the evaluation of proposals for UCD Humanities Institute membership centre on: strategic priorities and sub-themes; potential for international excellence and innovation; existing or potential collaboration; interdisciplinary nature of the applicant’s research; existing or potential funding; and prior investment in infrastructure. Potential applicants are advised to consult the Institute director in advance of making a membership submission. Where appropriate in academic and research terms, applications for associate membership from scholars external to UCD will be considered.
