The UCD History Society publishes a peer-reviewed, academic
journal, The History Review, which showcases new research,
especially, though not exclusively, that of postgraduate
research students from the UCD School of History & Archives.
In addition to disseminating current research, the journal also
offers it readership reviews of new books and reports on recent
academic conferences. The journal has a widespread following and
can be found in the library collections of a number of Irish
universities, including Trinity College Dublin, NUI Galway and
University College Cork. Details on how to purchase copies of the
journal will be announced on this page in due course.

Attention research students!
The journal's editorial team are currently in the process of
preparing volume 17 of the publication and invite submissions for
articles from current, or recently-finished postgraduate history
students. Articles are to be between 4,000 and 8,000 words
(inc. footnotes) and must follow the UCD School of History
& Archives style of referencing, information on which can
be found here.
The deadline for submissions is 5pm Monday, 7th of January
