For people travelling to Dublin here is a map of UCD showing the conference venue and the hotel that is housing most of the speakers - The Montrose. The Montrose is located adjacent to the entrance of UCD and is well served by a variety of bus services.
From Dublin Airport (12.5 miles) the best way to get to the Montrose Hotel and UCD is using the Aircoach bus service (Leopardstown/Sandyford Route). A return ticket is 14 euro. The aircoach departs directly outside of arrivals in Dublin Airport and there is also a stop at UCD for the return journey. Travel times to and from the airport vary (depending on traffic) so allow 50 minutes for journey.
Taxis are also available from the rank outside the arrivals terminal. The journey to UCD/Montrose will cost approximately 40 euro.
From the City Centre
There are a number of Dublin Bus routes serving UCD and the Montrose from Dublin City Centre.
Number 46a From the City Centre leaves from outside Trinity College and drops off outside the hotel.
