This project, which was largely made possible by my UCD presidential fellowship of 2005-06, involves the preparation of a monograph for Oxford University Press. The project offers a major re-evaluation of Early Modern Catholicism in five principal areas, including entirely original material on the evolution of Catholicism in Central Europe and the Balkans, which has never before been considered in English language studies. The target submission date for the manuscript is the second half of 2008.
