The Commentarius Rinuccinianus Translation Project

I am one of the chief consultant historical editors for this project, headed by Dr William Kelly, based in the University of Ulster and funded by the Department of Arts, Sports and Tourism, which involves the translation and digitisation of one of the most important Latin sources for Early Modern Irish History. As effectively the only living historian who has studied and utilised this three-thousand page text, I have been consistently involved in all aspects of the project.The on-line version of the translation will be completed in October 2008 and it is envisaged that a printed set of volumes will be published in 2010.
