Submission & Late Submission
Please note that all pieces of coursework ought to be submitted to the History Office (K107) by the deadline which will have been given to you.
Following the procedures approved by the Academic Council in October 2005, the penalties for late submission will be as follows: coursework submitted at any time up to one week after the due date will have the grade awarded reduced by two grad points (a B- would become a C). If the coursework is submitted more than a week late but under two weeks late, the grade will be reduced by four grade points (so that a B- would become a D+). Coursework that is more than two weeks late will not be accepted.
Students who miss the deadline by a matter of hours or a day are advised by the university to spend the rest of the coming week revising and improving their work.
If lateness is due to illness, bereavement etc, then you must let the History Office (K107) know as soon as possible, and provide evidence of the problem.
