Job Vacancies

Overview

Listings of all current vacancies can be viewed and applied for via our online job application system. Current UCD staff must access the job application system via Employee Self Service (ESS) in order to see both internal and external vacancies. External visitors are welcome to view and apply for vacancies on our online job application system HR Research Logo 

The job application process is short & simple, and is the first step in the overall recruitment process. When completing your online job application you will be required to complete a short online application form and attach your CV, Cover Letter and other supporting documentation where appropriate.  

WEB BROWSER NOTICE:

We recommend using Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Internet Explorer 9 (or higher) or Safari to access the UCD eRecruitment System. There is a known issue with opening some files on Internet Explorer 7 & 8. If you must use Internet Explorer 7 or 8 please follow these instructions to enable you to view files. This will not affect your ability to complete your job application.

 

SERVICE NOTICE:

In order to facilitate essential maintenance ESS and eRecruitment will be unavailable from 1700 Hrs GMT  to 1900 Hrs GMT on Tuesday the 08th July 2014.

UCD Staff Job Applicants

Step 1: Click on the above button and login to ESS. If you are experiencing difficulties with your login please consult the ESS information page.

Step 2: Go to 'My e-Recruitment Self Service' to view both internal and external vacancies currently advertised.

Step 3: Select a job from the list for more information and for application details.

Step 4: Click 'Apply for Job' and complete the application form, attaching the required documents and following on-screen instructions. Note some sections of the application form will be pre-populated for you with data from the UCD HR system.

Step 5: You can click 'Save for Later' or if finished, click 'Apply'. You will receive email notification of your application once submitted.

External Job Applicants

Step 1: Click on the above button to go to the UCD Online Job Application System.

Step 2: If you have used the system before or have already registered for an account click 'Login'. If not, click 'Register' to create an account.

Step 3: Search by category, key words, reference number or ‘Search All’

Step 4: Click 'Apply for Job' and complete the application form attaching the required documents and following on-screen instructions.

Step 5: You can click 'Save for Later' or if finished, click 'Apply'. You will receive email notification of your application once submitted.
