Re-Framing the Neolithic is a one-day seminar which aims to capture the changes in traditional views of the Neolithic that have occurred in recent years and to highlight the scientific approaches behind many of these shifts in knowledge. Papers will address a number of themes - Environment and Subsistence, Monuments, Migration and Craft. While the primary focus of the day is the Irish Neolithic, there will be a number of speakers presenting on developments in Britain and the continent and their implications for the Irish evidence.
