HI Theory Reading Group 2017

If I could have just one Christmas wish – I hear you say – it would be to have a better understanding of critical theory…

Surely we have all said this at some point. Yes? Well, look no further! From January 2017 the Humanities Institute will be hosting a new lunchtime discussion group

We will meet every two weeks (1pm – 2pm) in the Humanities Institute (H204) to discuss pre-circulated reading. Bring along your lunch and spend an hour deciphering texts to improve your critical knowledge. Coffee and biscuits will be provided.

Texts for the first few meetings have been set, and are available online, but I am seeking suggestions for the following weeks in the hope that we will be able to gear the group to be helpful to people’s research. If you have any requests please forward them to joanna.robinson@ucd.ie.
