Speculative Biography: Opportunities, Obligations and Provocations - Master class by Dr Kiera Lindsey

​UCD Humanities Institute is delighted to offer the opportunity to attend a Master Class on ​Speculative Biography​: Opportunities, Obligations and Provocations. The event will take place on Thursday 12th September 2019. ​The duration will depend largely on numbers but we envisage a four hour time slot with lunch half way through, so starting about 10.30am and finishing about 3.30pm.

The master class with be given by Dr Kiera Lindsey an award-winning historian and recipient of the highly competitive Australian Research Council Discovery Early Career Research Award (DECRA) for a project concerned with speculative biography and historical craft.​ ​Dr Lindsey​ will be ​on research leave in Europe later this year and has ​kindly ​offered to give this master class​ during her trip​. ​​

In order to tailor the master class to the needs of the participants we will ask you to submit a 250 - 500 word bio with a statement about your current research and why you are interested in biography.
