Johann-Kaspar-Zeuss-Prize for the best PhD in Celtic Studies awarded to Humanities Institute alumnus

The Humanities Institute is proud to announce that the 2013 Johann-Kaspar-Zeuss-Prize for the best PhD in Celtic Studies has been awarded to Humanities Institute alumnus Dr Niamh Ní Shiadhail whose thesis Conspóidí creidimh 1818-c.1848: roinnt fianaise ó fhilíocht na Gaeilge (Religious controversies 1818 - c. 1848: some evidence from Irish-language poetry) was supervised by Dr Meidhbhín Ní Úrdail. This prize is awarded each year by the Societas Celtologica Europaea.
