Dr Adam Kelly

Adam Kelly is lecturer in American Literature at the University of York. He completed his PhD at University College Dublin, and from 2011-13 was a postdoctoral fellow at Harvard University. He is the author of American Fiction in Transition: Observer-Hero Narrative, the 1990s, and Postmodernism (Bloomsbury 2013), as well as articles in journals including Twentieth-Century Literature, Studies in the Novel, Post45, Critique, and Philip Roth Studies. His current book project is “American Fiction at the Millennium: Neoliberalism and the New Sincerity.”
