The Graduate School offers more than 60 challenging and socially relevant graduate taught programmes, resulting in qualifications that range from graduate certificates to masters. These include:
Cognitive science, health, human rights, information, development, economics, education, the environment, equality and justice, European studies, gender, geography, globalisation, international relations, nationalism, philosophy, peace and conflict, public affairs, publishing, politics, race and migration, society, rehabilitation and disability, public policy, psychological studies, global economy, urban studies and social cohesion.
These programmes are available to both full-time and part-time students and will prepare you for professional practice and certification, offer new insights on contemporary issues, and provide unique specialist skills. All of our courses have been designed with an absolute commitment to quality and all of our students benefit from UCD's internationally renown academic staff and from its dedication to research and teaching excellence. You may also study with us on an 'occasional' basis - taking individual modules of interest to you.
The normal requirement for entry to a master's programme is a second-class honours degree in a relevant subject. Applicants should check with the individual requirements of the School to which they apply. There may be professional pre-requisites for admission to some specialised master's programmes.
Even if you undergraduate degree is not in a 'relevant' subject it is frequently possible, through the acquisition of a higher diploma or other qualifying exam in the new subject - to apply successfully to your preferred masters.
