Text Box: HOME HYDROFOR is a multi-disciplinary, multi-sector cooperative project to: investigate the effects of forestry enterprises on Ireland’s aquatic ecology; & assess measures such as buffer strips to efficiently mitigate those effects. HYDROFOR is supported by: Ireland’s Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food—COFORD; & Ireland’s Environmental Protection Agency. HYDROFOR is housed jointly in University College Dublin’s: School of Biology and Environmental Science; & School of Architecture, Landscape and Civil Engineering. The project office is located in UCD's Centre for Water Resources Research. Project partners include: University College Cork; National University of Ireland - Galway; & Ireland’s Marine Institute.
