CPD Hours / Points
All UCD Commercial Law Centre Seminars and Courses qualify for CPD (Continuing Professional Development) hours and points under the Law Society of Ireland, Bar Council of Ireland, and a number of other professional bodies' cpd schemes, and we provide certificates of attendance on request to participants to show that they have participated. Our morning seminars qualify for a minimum of 4 CPD Hours.

Autumn Programme Announced

Transfer of Undertakings - half-day seminar postponed.
Regrettably
the seminar scheduled for July 18th has been postponed owing to illness of
the Course Leader. Health permitting, the seminar will be rescheduled in
Autumn 2008 and further details will be placed on this website in due
course. There will be additional places available on the Autumn Programme,

New series of half-day seminars commences on 28th April, 2008 with conference on "The Enforcement of Emplyment Legislation - NERA and the new regulatory regime.
The extension on March 23rd of the employee consultation obligation to undertakings employing more than 50 employees and the new Code of Practice taken together with the publication of the Employment Law Compliance Bill 2008 herald some of the most significant extensions of the regulatory burdens on all employers in recent years.
