Commemorating the Decade of Centenaries Wikipedia Editathon
Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016, 9am-12pm, 2nd floor, O'Brien Centre.
Come and join us as we document Ireland’s many centenaries. In UCD’s first Wikipedia Educational Program partnership, our undergraduate students will be showcasing their development of biographical profiles for the women and men who shaped Ireland.
·Wikipedia representatives will be on hand to demonstrate some of the features of collaborative authoring in Wikipedia.
·We'll have a photo booth available to capture participants' thoughts on collaborative creation of information.
