UCD seeks companies and researchers for employment based postgraduate research programme
UCD is proud to promote and participate in a new and exciting initiative from the Irish Research Council (IRC) for their new employment based postgraduate research programme.
What is this programme?
This programme offers researchers the opportunity to complete a Research Masters or PhD degree while employed by a private company or public organisation based in the Republic of Ireland. The programme is open to all sectors and research disciplines and the closing date is the 25th of September. The IRC will pay a maximum of €24,000 per annum per postgraduate student. Two thirds of this amount will go to the employer to pay the salary of the student researcher and one third will go to the University to pay for any additional fees and any additional costs encountered by the researcher. The employing company or organisation must contribute to the salary cost of the researcher who must be paid a minimum of €24,000, or the graduate entry salary, whichever is higher.
