University College Dublin seeking to strengthen its technology transfer team

University College Dublin (UCD) is currently seeking two technology transfer case managers, to strengthen its technology transfer team in order to translate its portfolio of technology opportunities arising from its research projects into commercial licences, start-up companies and partnerships with industry.

The successful candidates will advise on commercial issues in research contracts, identify and protect intellectual property (IP), and take a lead role in commercialising the IP though licensing and/or the creation of start-up companies.

Candidates will have domain expertise in one of the following broad areas; food/agriculture/veterinary and/or health/life sciences/medical technology.

UCD’s technology transfer team is based at NovaUCD as part of UCD Innovation. NovaUCD is the Centre for New Ventures and Entrepreneurs at UCD.
