Course Selection

UCD uses the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS).  A full courseload is 30 credits per semester. At undergraduate level each module is worth 5 credits and students take six modules per semester.

Erasmus students in UCD can take less than six modules per semester if they have the permission of their home university.

A list of courses offered in UCD is available at:http://www.ucd.ie/students/course_search.htm

The International Office registers students for courses and we will e-mail you a course registration form after acceptance.  Registration for your chosen courses depends on capacity, timetabling and prerequisites.  Students have a two-week add/drop period from the first day of classes to make changes to course registration.
