Campus Accommodation

 

UCD has on-campus accommodation available for over 3,000 students in halls of residence, catered and self-catering apartments. Accommodation consists of a single bedroom with options of both private and shared bathrooms. Places are limited and we regret that we are unable to guarantee accommodation to all international students.

International Students (Non–EU and Erasmus)

 There are 1,397 bed spaces allocated to International (Non-EU and Erasmus) students. For more information visit our Allocation Policy page

 

First Year International Undergraduate Students (Non-EU)

First year undergraduate Non-EU international students are guaranteed a room in UCD Residences. Information on the booking process will be sent to students in due course. Bookings will open on 30th May 2017.

 Graduate International Students (Non-EU)

International graduates who have applied to courses at UCD will have received information from the International office on booking accommodation. Graduate students should refer to the email that they received from UCD International. If you have any queries, please contact the International office (internationalaccommodation@ucd.ie) or check the International page for information on booking accommodation.

All eligible students will be contacted via email in advance of bookings opening with details on how to apply and a step--by-step guide to the booking procedure

Off-Campus Accommodation

If you have not been allocated a room in the student residences on-campus, or if you would rather live off-campus, you can contact the UCD Residences Off-Campus Office or the Student Union Accommodation Services for advice on off-campus options. *The Off-Campus Accommodation Office is open all year round (Monday - Friday 09:30 – 13:00 and 14:00 – 17:00) in the Merville Reception Office.

You should view private accommodation in advance to make sure it suits your requirements.

The staff of UCD International cannot make reservations on your behalf.

University College Dublin is a partner of HousingAnywhere.com, the international student-to-student housing platform. Students who are coming from abroad to Dublin can find & book a student room on www.HousingAnywhere.com. The rooms on this platform are offered by our students that go abroad for a study abroad semester, exchange, Erasmus or internship. Using the platform itself is completely free for you as a student; when you make a concrete booking an administrative fee will be charged as a part of Housing Anywhere’s secure booking system.
