UCD has a suite of study options available this summer ranging from academic and cultural enrichment to undergraduate research and internship opportunities. The Summer School programmes cater to students from High School through to Postgraduate.
Summer High School Programme
An ideal environment for high school students to challenge themselves academically and build a college resume, while enjoying the vibrant student and cultural life of the European capital city of Dublin.
The eight week Programme consists of a six-week internship placement at a leading Irish company. From business to the arts, the internship team can provide a broad spectrum of intellectually engaging internships based on any field of interest, internship goals, and skills.
Nursing Summer School
Students will benefit greatly by developing their knowledge of comparative health and nursing systems and their skills in research for nursing practice.
The UCD Clinton Institute Summer School
The UCD Clinton Institute Summer School brings together scholars and graduate students from around the world to engage in wide-ranging discussion on interdisciplinary study of the United States. The School is aimed at advanced graduate students and junior faculty in the fields of American Studies, History, Political Sciences and Literary and Cultural Studies.
