Project:. An opportunity exists, using the Growing Up in Ireland survey to explore quality outcomes (health, education, socio-economic status, etc) of older children with disabilities from ethnic minorities, when compared with matched children (on age, gender, household income) who are not from ethnic minorities. Project: My research areas are family, social demography, and social stratification. I plan to investigate these data for different projects, basic research for empirical articles and policy-relevant projects for grant applications (IRC, ERC, HORIZON 2020). I want to investigate many different issues. One is the time use of children aged 9 and 13 and their impact on outcomes. Also, I plan to investigate data for social class and ethnicity variations on expectations (CHILD CHORT). Further, I aim at conducting an in-depth analysis of home learning environments and skills accumulation from age 0 to age 7 (INFANT CHORT). In short, I would like to use “all” the data for all wave and have them and merge them in the most advanced and user-friendly way to start to work on different projects on these fields!
