Library & Information Technology Board
The Library & Information Technology Board has eleven members and is scheduled to meet 3-4 times a year. The Registrar's Office is the Secretariat for the Board.
The Board will ensure that the Library and IT functions align with the UCD strategic plan and provide an integrated approach to information and knowledge management across the University. It will make recommendations regarding funding to assure that these units are appropriately resourced to address the needs of the academic and administrative functions of the university.

Terms of Reference:
- Oversee the strategic development and direction of the Library and IT Services
- Align the activities of the Library, IT Services and other information and knowledge based functions in the University with the overall objectives of the UCD strategic plan and other University functions where appropriate
- Monitor and approve annual operational plans for these Units
- Ensure adequate resourcing (staffing and financial) is in place for both IT Services and the Library
- Approve University level policies for IT Services and Library
- Report to UMT/UMT (A) as required but at least annually.
