UCD Equipment Registration

Welcome to the UCD IT Services' Equipment Registration Service.

From here you can register any equipment you wish to use on the UCD Campus Network. All users need to have a UCD Login ID in order to register a machine on the network. Please ensure that you have this before proceeding.

Once you have a UCD Login ID, please choose the "Customer Type" applicable to you:

Obtain a UCD Login ID
Choose a Customer Type from the list above
Read and accept the University's Acceptable Use Policy
Complete the form

Check that all details required have been included
Complete the registration of your machine within 1 working day

Please check...

After 1 working day, that your machine is working on the Network
Ensure the machine is configured to use DHCP
Reboot the machine
Examine the IP address - your machine is registered if it begins with 137.43... or 193.1
