How to log into Blackboard

Follow these steps to log into Blackboard.
Note for students: When you start at UCD, it may take a few days before you are set up in Blackboard. This is because your courses have to be assigned to you before the system grants access.
Step 1
Launch a web browser. For a list of Blackboard-supported browsers, click here.
Step 2
Go to http://elearning.ucd.ie
Enter your username and password.
- Username: Your UCD username.
- Password: Use the same password as for UCD Connect.
Step 3
Click Login.
Another way to log in (from UCD Connect)
- Simply log into UCD Connect. Find out how to login to UCD Connect.
- Then click on the Blackboard button on the top right-hand side of the page.
- You will then be automatically logged in.
