How to configure security in Microsoft Entourage Email for Apple Mac (Staff)

Tip: Take note of your current settings before making any changes.

To configure Microsoft Entourage security settings follow the steps below.

Step 1

From the Entourage menu, click on Account Settings.

Click New, for account type choose IMAP

Enter your UCD email address.

Click Configure account manually at the bottom of the box.

Step 2

Enter account name, your name and email address

Under Receiving mail enter your username

Under IMAP Server enter

imap.ucd.ie

Enter your password

Select Click here for advanced receiving options and select This IMAP service requires a secure connection (SSL)

Step 3

Under Sending mail as the smtp server enter

smtp.ucd.ie

Select Click here for advanced sending options

Tick SMTP server requires a secure connection (SSL)

Click ok
