How to send secure email in Outlook 2003

Follow these steps to send secure email in Outlook 2003.
Click on the Servers tab in the mail Properties box.
Tick the box My server requires authentication under Outgoing Mail Server and click on the Settings button.
Click on Advanced tab:
- Incoming Server (IMAP): 993
- Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
Tick the box "This server requires a secure connection (SSL)" for the Incoming and TLS for the Outgoing server.
Any mail now sent to you will appear in the Inbox folder under your new profile.
To ensure the mail you send is as secure as possible, select Account Properties
Click the Advanced tab.
Select SSL from the drop-down list as the type of encrypted connection for incoming server - imap.ucd.ie
Select TLS from the drop-down list as the type of encrypted connection for outgoing server - smtp.ucd.ie
Click OK followed by Next to complete configuring your e-mail account.
