How to set administrator passwords on a computer using Microsoft Windows

The Administrator account is very powerful as it allows total control of the computer.

To set an administrator Password in windows follow the steps below.
Step 1
| Right-click My Computer and select Manage. | |
Step 2
| Under Computer Management (Local) expand the Local Users & Groups folder and select the Users folder. | |
Step 3
| Right-click on each account and choose Set Password from the list of actions. If an account is disabled do not enable it. Type a password, press the tab key and retype the password to confirm. Warning: DO NOT delete accounts, especially if you do not recognise them. | |
