How to set administrator passwords on a computer using Microsoft Windows

The Administrator account is very powerful as it allows total control of the computer.

It is essential that your account has a strong passwords set. Find out how to set a strong password by clicking here

To set an administrator Password in windows follow the steps below.


Step 1
Right-click My Computer and select Manage.  modify windows admin password 
Step 2
Under Computer Management (Local) expand the Local Users & Groups folder and select the Users folder.   
Step 3
Right-click on each account and choose Set Password from the list of actions. If an account is disabled do not enable it. Type a password, press the tab key and retype the password to confirm. Warning: DO NOT delete accounts, especially if you do not recognise them.
