Printing at UCD

There are two (2) systems of printing at UCD –
1. Students
2. Staff / Postgraduates
Student Printing
Student printing services in UCD are provided by

You can print to a printer in a computer lab. This includes colour and black-and-white. Find out where the printers are.
To print something you must buy credits. Find out where and how to buy credit.
Staff / Postgraduate Printing
You can print to any one of 600 ‘networked’ printers in UCD.
Follow these instructions to print on a networked printer at your location
Note : A ‘networked’ printer is one that can be accessed by anyone on the UCD network, i.e. it is not exclusive to you. A printer that can only be used by you is called a ‘local’ printer. A local printer is physically connected by cable to your computer.
Printing at UCD is managed and supported by IT Services in conjunction with HP.
