Throughout Orientation week UCD IT Services provide free 20 minute student IT Induction courses from the Daedalus building

IT Induction courses are designed to familiarise the new UCD student with all they need to know about:

• How to get help
• Accessing the UCD network and using your computer account
• Using the IT Services computer labs 
• Accessing software applications
• Using UCD Connect
• eLearning
• Laptop services at UCD
• UCD Mobile app 
• Printing Services
• Saving your files

For Staff

If you are new to UCD, a staff IT Induction course will help you to quickly acquire the necessary knowledge about the university's IT services. To view the course simply click on the relevant movie icon on the right hand side of this page.
