How to set the wireless software switch on a Windows PC to ‘On’

These instruction apply to laptops with the Microsoft Windows XP operating system only.

Step 1

Click Start > Control Panel.

Step 2

Double click the icon labelled Wireless Network.

Step 3

The wireless software switch should now be turned on.

Note: Some laptops use other software to control wireless access. If so, you need to refer to the manufacturer’s instructions for how to turn the switch ‘On’.
