Borrow a laptop

Last Updated: 03/02/09

Steps to borrowing a laptop

The laptop loan service allows staff and students to borrow a laptop for a full day from any of the IT Centres. Designed to enhance access to IT services the laptop loan service offers the same facilities provided on PCs in open access laboratories. The laptops can also connect to the UCD wireless network to provide true mobility and flexibility. Each IT Centre has a portable storage unit with charging capabilities so your laptop is always ready to go.

Steps to borrowing a laptop

1.Go to your nearest IT Centre

2.Bring your staff / student ID card

3.Complete and sign a form

The laptop loan service is designed to provide day-long loans of laptops for use anywhere on campus. They must be returned by 5pm on the day of the loan.
