eFinancials
eFinancials is a web-based finance system provided by Advanced Business Solutions that was implemented in the university in 2004.
Access and Support
Access to eFinancials can be obtained by cpmpleting the eFinancials User Access Application form, which is available at the following URL:

Please note eFinancials is one of the central administration systems, and staff must hold a staff UCD Connect account before being given access to the application.
Menu privileges within the eFinancials application are dependant on the users' area of responsibility. If you have any queries on the accee requirements, please contact the Finance Systems Team at finance.systems@ucd.ie or ext 1540, 1541, or 1484.

Advanced Business Solutions Helpdesk
From time to time functional and system issues arisewhich are referred to eFinancial supplier Advanced Business Solutions helpdesk for resolution. These issues are logged by the Finance Systems Team.
MSU & IT Services
The MSU & IT Services provide support in relation to operating systems, database management and the infrastructure architecture on which eFinancials is hosted. System backups are performed at regular intervals and are the responsibility of IT Services.
