Management Information Services (MIS)
The MIS team is responsible for coordinating the delivery of information from UCD's main business systems. We work closely with staff in Registry, Finance, HR and UCD Research to define and develop suites of operational and management reports for use by academic and administrative staff around the university.
We also work with staff in central administrative offices to assist them in responding to ad hoc information queries.
UCD InfoHub is the main tool used to deliver information to UCD staff. This is a web-based system, accessed directly from UCD Connect. UCD InfoHub presents a staff member with information at a summary level and facilitates quick and easy drilling to more detail. Since its introduction in September 2010 UCD InfoHub is being used increasingly by staff to assist them in managing day-to-day operations as well as in planning.
