Digital Photography
The photography section of Media Services offers a highly specialised and yet extremely diverse service to support University College Dublin's main objectives. In our role as university photographers we train staff, provide advice and practical help, manage a large database of images of university life and, of course, take photographs.
As photographers for UCD we take pictures of all the universities activities. The range of subjects couldn't be broader - from sick elephants to rare apples, from archeological artifacts to medical research. We also operate a professionally equipped studio for portraiture, product and still life photography.
The Media Services, UCD IT Services Image Catalogue contains a growing collection of images representing the activities of University College Dublin. The database is designed to be easily searched or browsed and the images are suitable for use in a broad range of publications or websites.
