UCD Network change request

Please be aware the internet access to most University registered servers over http or https** is available by default. Https is the preferred method to access all University web services and is required for sites processing sensitive information or login pages. The University VPN can be used by staff to securely access any registered server from off campus and is the only service supported by IT Services.

Exceptional access to servers which are not available using the University VPN and require core network changes can be submitted to the IT Services using the following method.

Please complete the UCD Network Change Request form here. You will need to authenticate with your UCD Connect username and password.

You will be emailed automatically when your request has been submitted and will be emailed a ticket number by the UCD IT Helpdesk when your request has been assigned for review.

All changes requests must be received by 5pm on Friday.
Approved changes will be implemented the following Tuesday 5-7pm.
