Software Application Retirement
As part of the life cycle management of software, IT Services has recently completed an analysis of the use of software applications from NAL (Novell Application Launcher) over the last 12 months. Due to very low usage, IT Services are recommending the retirement of a number of applications. It is proposed to disable access to these applications from NAL on November 30, 2008. If there is no further demand for them in the following six months, they will be removed from NAL on May 31, 2009. See the full list of retiring software applications below.
