UCD's First Bilingual Website Launched on CMS
UCD IT Services recently launched UCD's first fully bi-lingual website which was developed with the University’s Content Management System, Site Manager. The new site for the National Folklore Collection incorporates a range of audio and video presentations and reflects the full range of activities at the Centre.

Site Manager solves many of the problems typically encountered when managing large multi-lingual sites. For example, the system will detect changes in one language that are not reflected in the second language. Maintenance of large bilingual and multilingual websites would not be sustainable without a Content Management System.
Our second bilingual website for Bord na Gaeilge will launch in the very near future.
The Content Management System project is progressing well with 70 university sites now integrated with Site Manager.
