Next Blackboard 9 Training Session Takes Place 24th August
IT Services are upgrading Blackboard from version 8 to version 9.1 over the summer. If you are a staff member and you would like to get ready for Blackboard 9 and learn how to use the many new features, join one of our Blackboard 9 Upgrade Summer training sessions.
These 1.5 hour training sessions are designed for users of Blackboard and will provide you with the ability to understand and navigate the new interface, use the enhanced and new tools, meet fellow Blackboard users, and ask about other developments in this area.
The new version offers significant improvements including a new user interface which makes it easier to use drag and drop and create context sensitive menus when creating or modifying your courses. New features also include extended group tools, multiple attempt assignments, new instructor and student notification dash boards and inbuilt blogs and wikis.
